How Can Humor Effect The People

Humor is a good way to break the ice, and short jokes are particularly effective as they are easy to tell and easy to remember. School pranks are common, but the best high school gags can be said to be the ones where everybody ends up laughing together.
Meanwhile, while you are trying to draw the eyes of many, there is an effective way to save you from yourself. You can still be an attention-catcher by just plainly walking on the street. Below is a small list of the slang used in the 1960s. Some are still commonly used today, while others are not and some are just clearly dated but we love them anyway.
On the one hand, I am a respon¬si¬ble father and hus¬band. Patient, cre¬ative and fru¬gal. On the other hand, I am an aggres¬sive poker player – impa¬tient, impul¬sive and some¬times reckless. All they do is text and get gnarly with all their friends. The driver in my novel is much more rigid than the other 3 passengers, refusing to text while driving because it’s just too dangerous.
Smiling out loud for 10 minutes regularly can help you become healthy person both physically and mentally. So laugh away your worries and enjoy life to fullest. He carefully spreads fertilizer on the third floor, and then waters it. Satisfied, he goes to the second floor and repeats the process. He fertilizes the family quarters on the first floor, and finally Good material will not be funny if the shipping is poor and likewise, bad comedy material can perhaps turn hilarious thanks to the presentation skills.
Humorous On-Hold Messages Really Work ? And That’s No Joke!

Be honest. What comes to mind when you think about being put on hold after calling a business? Granted, it’s not something most of us spend quality time pondering. But the average person would probably equate it with the same fondness of heart they feel toward, let’s say being stuck in rush hour traffic or waiting in the lobby of the dentist’s office. Wouldn’t it be great to hear some interesting trivia or perhaps an occasional spot of humor? You can bet on it! And so are an increasing number of savvy businesses.
As more companies are harnessing the power of on hold messages than ever before, message on hold production has come more fully into the mainstream of the advertising industry, and has been progressively shedding its “elevator music” image by mixing in a dash of wit here or a pinch of wisdom there.
Fading is the day when the only option callers on hold have is listening to a uniform style presentation of products and services. And, though the straight ahead approach will always be perfectly valid, and is the only practical choice for some types of businesses (more on that in a moment), many callers seem to enjoy a brief exodus from the often too serious workday.
The challenge for any company when considering the content of on hold messages is to keep callers on the line, remind them that they haven’t dropped off the company radar and of course, simultaneously generate sales, or at least spark enough interest in products and services to get them talking to salespeople. If you own a business and have ever mulled over the idea of creating custom messages on hold, remember, when adding-in humor or trivia it needs to be kept in good taste. As in any other customer interaction a little discernment goes a long way.
Character Stance Basics: Dramatic vs. Humorous

Pops have a tendency to appear comedic. Dramatic pieces that involve multiple characters require character development on a deeper level than a humorous piece when it comes to pops, and the reason is simple. In a funny performance, it’s standard operating procedure to include at least one or two characters who stand in a stereotyped or extreme way – Knees bowed in, hunched over, confused face, pushing glasses up on the nose to imitate a shy, nerdy person. Tall posture, one hand on the hip and other hand pointing at the audience for a Tim Gunn effect, et cetera. But you can’t get away with using stereotyped character stances in a dramatic performance because it comes across as a joke. Since it’s never a good sign if people are laughing at you during a dramatic performance, here are a few ways to differentiate between comedic and dramatic pops:
Comedic pops can be “bigger” and more exaggerated, with broader movements and even audible shifting noises. Your gestures in H.I. or any comedic piece will naturally be more flamboyant, which you can use to your advantage when it comes to pops.
Remember that contrast between pops is very important in a humorous piece simply because it’s funny to watch someone physically go back and forth between extremes.
In a performance of a dramatic piece, you want to keep your pops somewhat close together and simple – for example, make one character slightly shorter than the other by bending your knees, and keep the focus on your shift in facial expression and posture rather than elaborate hand gestures.
Dramatic pieces lend themselves well to silent, delicate character transitions. This goes back to contrast; your character stances should be close enough together to allow you to switch between them with minimal movement.
Humor and Mind Tricks to Turn Your Finances Around

How’s the cash flow been at your house lately? Getting worse instead of better? Wondering when these horrendous economic times are finally going to turn around so that the majority of us can keep our heads above water again? Me, too.
Pretty much everyone I know is broke, near broke or has less and less money to spend each month. Some of those who were quite well off before, have lost their homes, businesses, filed for bankruptcy or done all three. The poor have gotten poorer, and more have joined their ranks.
Do you even allow yourself to dream or envision what the other side of all that would mean to you anymore? Many do not because the thoughts of not having at least what they did before are just too painful to contemplate. One acquaintance who is a struggling business owner probably summed up the feeling of many people when he said, “I will never make over 0,000 ever again in my lifetime. Those days are gone forever.” To me that translates to no hope. I was there and scared, too like everyone else.
But my life’s philosophy is to laugh as much as possible and to find the humorous in every situation. And I know for sure that whatever you think about most, positive or negative, you will receive. And even though I believe that in theory, I hadn’t given much thought as to how it had been working so well with my fears, too. I was fearful of my piling debt. I was fearful of losing my home and going bankrupt. Then one day it finally hit me. I was getting exactly what I had been thinking about; more debt and less money.
Baby Boomers and Humor

Baby Boomers and Humour
Baby Boomers have had many life experiences. Some of them are good and some of them are not. However, we should write about what we know.
We know that we have been through a lot in our life time. We were kids during the fifties and sixties. This was a fascinating historical time. The Cuban crisis, The Kennedy assassination, first man on the moon, Vietnam War, American deserters coming to Canada so they won’t get drafted- the list goes on and on. The hippie era, when thousands of youths moved across the country protesting “the establishment” Kids dropped out of school in droves, and became involved in cults and religious groups. The list goes on and on.
History aside, our personal lives were filled with adventure and change. We got beat up by bullies too, we got married (and unmarried), we raised our children, we resisted killing them when they were teenagers, we had our careers, and now we are trying to retire. We spent our money, went through many recessions-then we had no money, and had to tell our darling children that they could not have a new bike because they had a new one last year. Many of our friends have passed away from non-age related diseases.
However we have met lots of characters, have had some hilarious life experiences and we need to share them in a humorous way. I attended a comedy show last week and this was gut-aching comedy. They just talked about ordinary things that happen to them everyday and put a humorous twist on it. We need to write this stuff down.
