Why anyone would want to listen to high school kids singing mediocre covers is beyond me. I listened to this album, and thought every song was just so boring. Don’t waste your money on this.

I’ve had the dubious experience of hearing this dreadful album in my workplace a number of times, as well as its “demon seed” twin sister, Glee 2.
What we have here are a bunch of crappy Rock & Pop songs sung in a very schmaltzy and unimaginative way by a bunch of teenage wannabes. The whole thing is very tacky.
There is so much great music in the world to experience. Why human resources are wasted on garbage like this escapes me!

Glee Volume One is great. It has our favorite songs from our favorite new tv series. The only downside was having had 2 Kirsten Chenowirths songs dedicated to the only 17 track cd. I do not think that was necessary.

I really like this CD. Lots of different kinds of songs and good arrangements.

So so. This album probably wouldn’t sold half decently if it weren’t 1. named Glee, 2. priced lower than the mp3 album. I should’ve bought the individual mp3s of the songs I actually liked. The others were, well, umimipressive. Nice vocals, I have to say, just not quite the style I could’ve anticipated when I bought it.
